5 Year Fire Sprinkler Inspection – Unit Access Needed

Alta is currently due for its 5-year fire sprinkler inspection as required by California Title 19 and NFPA 25.  During this inspection we are required to visually inspect all fire sprinkler heads inside of units on the property.  Below is the service schedule for the upcoming inspection for Wednesday, September 27th – Friday, September 29th. Please contact the Management office to confirm how access will be provided.

Floors 2 – 6   Wednesday 9/27/17 9:00am – 4:00pm

Floors 7 – 12   Thursday 9/28/17 9:00am – 4:00pm

Floors 13 – 21 Friday 9/29/17 9:00am – 4:00pm

You do not need to be home for this 5 minute inspection, but access to your unit is required per the schedule above to ensure there are no delays with this service time frame. If you are not available to provide access to your unit, you may leave keys with Management, the building engineer, or a neighbor and the door will be locked following completion of the inspection. If key cannot be provided, a locksmith will be onsite to provide access to the unit and all costs associated will be borne by the homeowner.

Keys may be dropped off directly to Management anytime between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday in the Management Office on the 2nd floor. This is a mandatory service and if you do not make arrangements for access, the Association will be using a locksmith to open your unit door and you will be called to a hearing and fined for the cost of the service.
